CONVERSION OF ST. PAUL MASS

The Conversion of St. Paul the Apostle

Just like the celebration of the Confession of St. Peter, the feast of Paul's conversion is the 25th of January but its observance is transferred to Monday the 26th this year since the 25th is a Sunday.

You can learn more about his conversion HERE.

We will celebrate Holy Eucharist on Monday at 11:30 in the Lady Chapel. (BTW, since the beginning of the New Year, several people have been attending our weekday services. Participation in the Eucharist doesn't have to be just once a week. As Saint John Chrysostom wrote: "How many of you say: I should like to see His face, His garments, His shoes. You do see Him, you touch Him, you eat Him. He gives Himself to you, not only that you may see Him, but also to be your food and nourishment.")

One more thought about Paul's conversion. It was sudden as we read in the Book of Acts. However none of us should compare our life-long deepening of faith in Jesus Christ with that fast and sensational conversion. Following a Rule of Life is a lifelong act of faith and conversion.
